As someone with naturally textured hair, it’s exceedingly difficult to find products that address scalp issues without causing damage or breakage. Dermazen delivers and then some. Honestly, even if I didn’t struggle with my scalp, I’d still use this conditioner. It’s that moisturizing and good for my curls.
So why only 3 stars?
Because at $45 a bottle, I only get about three washes out of it. I’m as much of a product junkie as the next person and I’m happy to splurge on high-quality products that work — but at roughly $15 per wash (not including the shampoo or MCT oil), it just isn’t sustainable for most budgets.
For reference: I have low-porosity 4b/4c curls, shoulder-length when wet.
Other than the price, I couldn’t ask for a better product!

This shampoo really works. It does what it says it will do. For me I chose not to continue using it because my hair color is light blonde, and it affects my color. I'm sad about it because I haven't found anything else that works outside of Dermazen.
