As someone with naturally textured hair, it’s exceedingly difficult to find products that address scalp issues without causing damage or breakage. Dermazen delivers and then some. Honestly, even if I didn’t struggle with my scalp, I’d still use this conditioner. It’s that moisturizing and good for my curls.
So why only 3 stars?
Because at $45 a bottle, I only get about three washes out of it. I’m as much of a product junkie as the next person and I’m happy to splurge on high-quality products that work — but at roughly $15 per wash (not including the shampoo or MCT oil), it just isn’t sustainable for most budgets.
For reference: I have low-porosity 4b/4c curls, shoulder-length when wet.
Other than the price, I couldn’t ask for a better product!

I like the conditioner a lot and feel that it softens my hair and keeps the scalp moist. You can't use the shampoo and then cancel all the benefits of that by using some random conditioner. This stuff is great!
