Eczema runs in my family, and I have it on my scalp. As a mixed woman with textured, curly hair I’ve struggled for over 25 years to find products that nourish both my hair AND my scalp. I’d become used to itchy-fiery-flaky scalp as soon as 1-2 days after washing my hair. Even products marketed towards calming scalp only exacerbated the malassezia, creating more flakiness and discomfort. After seeing a Dermazen ad on IG in 2023 I subscribed to the newsletter and benefited greatly from the educational resources breaking down my skin issues in a way I could truly understand. 2 years went by before I was comfortably able to afford the peaceful skin system, but in the meantime I switched to squalane oil, MCT oil and started implementing peppermint, tea tree and rosemary essential oils. This helped improve my symptoms, but it wasn’t a cure-all. Finally in July of this year I treated myself to the entire Dermazen product line, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference after the first use, and my skin and scalp have continued to improve. After 1 week I no longer had any flakes on my scalp! The shampoo + MCT oil + calming serum are MAGICAL. My hair and scalp have never felt happier or more at peace.

My face has never been this clear. For some reason, after my second child my skin was just terrible. This makes me feel like a totally different person. My face used to be so dry and patchy…now it’s not and I’m so happy! I used to be embarrassed having those patches going across my face. ALL of these products are great.

This kit was great way to try different products so I will give it 5/5 overall for that purpose . The face wash, serum, and lotion all worked really well for my husbands skin, 5/5. If he uses it daily then his skin is clear and hugely improved. It was extremely flaky and irritated before.
The shampoo did not seem to help much unfortunately. It’s been a few weeks of use and maybe a little bit of improvement but still really flakey. So that product gets less stars. We did not try using the serum in his hair since it seemed too oily. Maybe we can test that out.
We honestly haven’t used the roller. I wasn’t sure how to use it with the other products so no comment on that yet.

You're absolutely right that consistency is key—daily use really does make all the difference! We totally understand about the shampoo not showing the same dramatic results yet, and you might be onto something with trying the serum in his hair since scalp care can sometimes need that extra boost. As for the roller, it's actually perfect for targeted spot treatment or soothing any irritated areas that pop up, but there's no rush to figure it out! I think I'll have to update this review when I've used it for longer. I do feel this definitely works. I've been using the shampoo, moisturizer, serum, and the cooling roller. I notice a cooling and calming effect immediately after using the shampoo. My hair also feels thicker. I've also noticed that the flakes seem to be coming off on their own. It isnt fully managed but I did just start using it. I enjoy how soothing the roller ball is and I use it any time of day. My only issue is that the facial moisturizer doesnt seem heavy enough for my skin. Plus, it hasn't totally taken away the flaking on my scalp. It possibly needs more time and I'll continue buying these products. I'm pleased with them overall.
